We wanted to share this piece featuring 40 collector’s coins.  The black matte, forgoing any slot-cut-mattes in favor of design simplicity — and the frame with a color-matching, metallic sheen — looks terrific.  The setting focuses attention on the entire piece and also invites further inspection of the individual coins — art objects in their own right.
